Spirit spreadlers go You probably could not help but notice that the Pep Club members had infiltrated almost every part of this school. They filled the halls with signs, locker decorations and an infectious decease called "school spirit." Their voices seemed to emanate from the very walls. Those gold golf shirts came at you from every corner on Fridays. Their mission: To promote school spirit, to make "apathy" an obsolete word, to attend sports events and cheer all the Raider teams on to vic- tory. The way these objectives were achieved was by having a great deal of enthusiasm and a lot of time. But, as with every endeavor there were complicationsg the Homecoming committee could not have cars on the new track, and there were some objections to the. new uni- forms. But through their influence all school assemblies were once again resumed, and a bonfire was held before the East football game.
