It is through the eyes of the camera that We give you this glimpse of our school life. Lights! Action! Camera! 3 IIEDIIIATIIIN To show our love, respect, and apprecia- tion to the school which We leave, we feel that it is fitting and proper that we should bestow upon it this symbol. And so it is with sincere pride and reverence that We, the Senior Class of 1947, dedicate this QUILNA to our Alma Mater, Shawnee High School. 4 SH!-IWNEE IN FIIEUS ,- WM L, . ..f.,M., H wwf -mug' 4, ,' .Magi-A . . , X. Monthly meetings were held, at which time members were acquainted with state and national professional publications, listened to teachers describe their experi- ences, and planned their own teaching activities. At least one period a week for six weeks, members observed any class they desired. Following this they taught at least one class a week for an estimate. This gave opportunity for teaching experience from grades one to twelve. A Wiener and marshmallow roast was held as a finale for the yeai-'s program. Howl C Hawisher M 1VIcDorman, Secretary: I. Under the able guidance of Mr. Baca and under the leadership of fine officers from year to year, the Spanish Club has developed into one of the major organizations ofthe school.
