Consolidafed in I926, Shawnee began wiih a 'rofal enrollmeni of 393. This enrollmenl' has increased +o a 1'o1'al of 693- 253 in +he high school and 440 in fhe grade school. This is i'ruly progress. The fall of I939 saw The crowning achievement 'rhe complerion of The modern addifion To +he school. The new addiiion confains an up-+o- dale lndusfrial Aris Laboraiory, a modern sound-proofed music room. a library and 'lhe la+es+ in class rooms.
