We have had a highly successTul and pleasurable year.

FRESFIMAN The Freshman Class has compleled a very successful year. Six ol our boys were on lhe reserve loolball Team. They were John Schaeu- blin, Donald l-leiclner, Roberl l-laslings, Howard Myers, James Lee, and Clair Baber. Four of our girls were on lhe baslcelball squad. They were Dorolhy Croft Doro- +hy Lehman, Maxine Mcpheron, and Al- berla Ramga. The Freshman boys also had a baslcel- ball leam. They included Caplain Billy Ebling, Donald l-leiclner, Roberl l-laslings, Beryl Monlague, Jack Slewarl, Fred Maulc, l-loward Myers, Arlhur Yoakam, John Schaeublin, Paul Dehner, Kennelh Taylor, Eric Lange, Kennelh Flanigan, James Saylor, Wickie June, and Nalhan McElroy. Eighl pupils are in lhe band, six in 'rhe orcheslra and lwenly in lhe mixed chorus. There is an enrollmenl of forly-Tour pu- pils in our class, 'rwenly-one girls and Jrwenly-lhree boys. We opened our season of parlies wi+h a slcaling parly al lhe Trianon Slcaling Rinlc. This was closely followed by a par- ly al lhe school and lhen anolher slcaling pa rly.

Our aclivilies have been many lhrough- oul lhe school year ol l936- I 937. Eleven ol our pupils, Helen Lehman, Roloerl Burl- chin, Roberl Copus, James Breese, Ernesl Davis, Belly Rarnseyer, Helen Jean Spy- ker, Wanda Bowsher, Gene Monlague, Mary Anna Mohney, and Delores Weisen- mayer, look parl in lhe annual Music Fes- lival held in Memorial Hall in Lima. The enlire sevenlh grade also look ac- live parl in lhe Operella, Ask lhe Pro- lessor which was given March 24. Gene Monlague, Ernesl Davis, Rulh Mook. Helen Jean Spyker, and Mary Anna Moh- ney had leading roles. The chapel program was given by lhe sevenlh grade in April. ll was an amaleur conlesl wilh Conley Saylor as Masler ol Ceremonies. We, as sevenlh graders, are iusl be- ginning our high school lile and we hope lhe nexl live years will be successful. We shall do our besl lo make lhem so.
