As sophomores, we elecfed Karen Bohm as our class presidenf. When homecoming fime arrived, we were represenfed by Sally Moede and Roger Piehl, and again capfured fhird place wifh our floaf. Two of our classmafes gained school-wide recognifion when fhey parficipafecl in fhe sfafe play which received a B rafing. They were John Hinkfuss and Bill Breihan. Miss Franlce's homeroom sponsored fhe Sadie Hawkin's day dance which is now an annual affair. 'To end our sophomore year happily, Larry Malfbey received fhe male lead of fhe opereffa, Any- fhing Goes. Larry gave a fine performance. All foo soon, if was fhaf big year when we were juniors. Our well-remembered Pal' Healy presid- ed over our class and under her we had a mosf successful Prom, Candy Lane. We chose Leroy Barkow as King and Sally Moede was his Queen. This was fhe year our floaf fook firsf place and Nan Tomashelc and Len Pubanz were our represen- fafives. We chose our class rings and had our guys on varsify. Karen Bohm and Rose Skowronelc were our varsify cheerleaders. Our class is credifed wifh sfarfing fhe Advanced Science Club. Before we knew if, our fhird year af S. H. S. was over. Now we are seniors-fhe firsf in our brand new high school and are we proud! Our class again fool: firsf place wifh fhe floaf and Joan Krueger chose Gordon Lindner fo help her represenf us on fhe courf- of-honor. Affer being measured for our caps and gowns, ordering our calling cards and announcemenfs, and exchanging our senior picfures, we began fo realize fhaf soon all of fhese happy momenfs would be Momenfs fo Remember. As we say farewell fo allof fhis-our plays, dances, games, and acfivifies- we hope fhaf fhe underclassmen who will be faking our place, will appreciafe and enjoy fheir four years of high school as much as we did.
