We the superior and complacent Juniors have kept up the old tradition at Shafter High-that the third year class is the most active and has the most school spirit. We've played an important role in ath- letics, scholastic activities, and dramatics. We put on a Box Social and the Junior- Senior prom and banquet-all brilliantly successful. When next year is mentioned, we smile a wise smile. for we know that then we shall eclipse all the other efforts of all the pre- ceeding' classes.

In fact we did our utmost to make the first few weeks of school as uncomfortable for them as possible. This, we discovered was a rather pleasant job. The true spirit of our class is typified by our two vivacious Student Body yell lead- ers. Our next year as upper classmen will only make it more self-evident that Shafter High couldn't get along without us.
