JUNIOR HISTORY lContinued from page 22l Our Sophomore year was a swell one, everything going fine. The subrects were a little more difficult, but we studied a little more and came through with flying banners. As for officers: president, Charles Hannan, vice president, Anne Lovrich, secretary-treasurer, Sara Hood, historian, Walter Burkhart, This year, our Junior year, seems like the most important year. The Seniors are having their important year, but they are already going into their second childhood, running after us and wanting the Juniors to do this and that, so as to make their Senior year a success. We don't mind working like horses to make their year a success because they are one swell bunch of kids! This year's officers are president Steve Kocheran vice president Walter Burkhart secretary treasurer Yvonne Longwell historian John Steele Among some of the outstanding events this year are the Junior Class Play the Prom and the Prince of Peace Contest And our class will be the first to get their graduation rings in their Junior year MISS JIMMY Curtain' The scene is the study room of Louise and Florence As the play begins Jimmy is forced by his fraternity brothers to enter the girls dormitory and steal a dress as part of his initiation At the same time the girls are finding it hard to find dates for the prom except brothers cousins etc but who wants to take them? But wait they capture Jimmy and decide to hold him for ransom From then on things really begin to happen The girls have a time keeping Jimmy hidden from Professor Frazier and the Dean When they all fall for Jimmy and try to win him Jimmy tries to escape by posing as Miss Jimmy in Louises dress When everything looks clear the chief of police who has a long record for catching kidnappers appears The girls hearts are really up in their throats by this time But in the end they sigh and relax when they find out he has only come to give the school a lecture on kidnapping' Miss Watkins the Dean waives her penalties and as the curtain closes th girls are all happily contemplating attendance to the dance with the young men from the State University Louise Florence Catherine Doris Harriet THE CAST Sara Hood Erma Schroeder Joanne Hocher Yvonne Longwel' Betty Slack Miss Watkins Jimmy Droopy Professor Frazier I r f r S I S' ' , f , '- Y I I I ' S ll ll , 1 , - C . . , I .
