CLASS PROPHECY--Continued Continued from Page 22 In Egypt, the next stop, I met jim Campbell and his wife, Elaine Forsythe, who were conducting an expedition into the pyramids in search of two famous mummies. I went with them, and imagine how astonished we were to find that the mummies were Elizabeth Dean and Vic'Husser. From Egypt I went to Brazil, where I met jim Farmer who was a wealthy man because he had invented a coffee bean that would produce coffee already flavored with milk. It seems the people of 'South America considered his invention a miracle. While in Brazil I went into a beauty shop to have my hair fixed, and as the owner of the shop came forward I saw that it was Wilda Lewis who had also become wealthy by an invention to straighten hair. After this process, she induced the women to try her special permanents, guaranteed to last a lifetime. From Brazil I traveled to Argentina, where I found a woolen factory owned by Duane Long, Bob Merryman and Mary Pickett. It seems that their factory in the U. S. had failed, so they came to S. A. to begin anew. Mary told me that Dale Campbell and Harold Kirkland had joined the French Foreign Legion to try to forget an unhappy love affair of their youth. From Argentina I decided to go to Cuba, where I met Jennings Davis who was the owner of a large sugar plantation. He asked me if I had heard the new newspaper woman, Agnes Baker, on the radio. I had not heard her, but I told him I wasn't surprised because I always knew Agnes could write. From Cuba I went to Mexico to see some of the old Indian relics and I found that Dante Vazzoli had opened a dancing school to teach the Mexican senoritas to do the famous American dances. From Mexico I again entered the United States. In Florida I went to see a movie, Man or Mouse, that was produced by Harry Wright. It was based on the book written by Helen Kapolka. During my travels one day, I was passing what seemed ton be an old southern plantation but as I drove in I found it was a night club owned by Donald Ward. I also discovered that one of the singing waiters was Chet MacMahon, who nightly painted his face black and dropped to his knees singing Ida amid the thundering applause of the audience. The featured torch singer for the evening was Lillian Sherman. She told me that she was planning to give up her career and marry Thoburn Van Dyne. I journeyed on through the states until I came to Texas, where I met Stanley Stemkowski who had been a cowboy but was now a wealthy oil man. He asked me if I'd heard anything about johnny August. I explained that I had been on a trip. He said that johnny had risen to fame overnight. He was now the middleweight boxing champion of the world, America's number one boy friend, and it was rumored that he had a Hollywood contract. He said that johnny made good because he had two of the best managers the U. S. offered, namely, Paul Vison and Neil Tenley. As I was going back to my hotel in California, I heard someone call my name. I turned and saw Agnes Oswick coming toward me. She informed me that she and Elsie Wells were partners in an insurance agency that was very successful. She told me that Margaret Palmer had married Bill Wood and they were living in Canada.
