FHCUHU Top Row: Mr. Cady received his Bachelor of School Music from Oberlin College. Although this is his first year here, he is one of the advisors for the Chess Club and was the director for the Junior Play, besides teaching public speaking and vocal music. Mr. Ellis acquired his A. B. from Davis and Elkins College, then went to Ohio State for his M. A. He teaches Social problems, History and Geography of Ohio, and Economics, in addition to coaching the Football and Basketball teams. Miss Futhey obtained her A. B. from Muskingum College. She teaches Sophomore English and American Literature. One of the advisors for the Girl Reserves. Second Raw: Miss Kerr, who received her A. B. from Ohio Wesleyan, teaches Latin, Bookkeeping and Business Training. Another G. R. advisor. Mr. Keyser, who graduated from Marietta College, substituted in English, Chemistry and Algebra at various times during the year. Mr. Kirkland went to Ohio University for his B. S. and his Masters in Education. He not only teaches Algebra, Geometry and General Science but is the coach of the wrestlers, assistant coach of football team and Athletic Director. Third Row: Mr. Marshall obtained his B. S. in Industrial Arts from Ohio University. He teaches Industrial Arts and Mechanical Drawing. He is also the Advisor to the Hi-Y. Miss Nesbitt. who teaches Biology and Business English, acquired her A. B. from Ohio University and her M. A. from Columbia. Miss Rodefer, who is assistant principal, received her A. B. from Bethany and her M. A. from the University of Pittsburgh. She teaches Algebra, Commercial Arithmetic and General Math. and is an Advisor for the G. R. Fnlartla Row: Mr. Spitler, who is just completing his first year here, received his B. S., Bc. T. S. and his M. A. from Ohio State. He teaches Typing, Shorthand and Stenography and is the Advisor for the Pen and Ink Club. Miss Tubaugh received her A. B. from Ohio University. She is now teaching English IX and Business Training. Miss Vernon, who received her A. B. from Muskingum College, is now in charge of the Home Economics Department and is Advisor for the Girl Reserves, Charmettes and Ping Pong Club. Fifth Row: Mr. Webster, who is in charge of the Instrumental Music and Chemistry Departments, received his A. B. and B. S. from Ohio State. He also teaches Senior Science and is an Advisor to the Chess Club. Miss Wells, who received her B. S. from Ohio State University, is now teaching English Literature besides being in charge of the girls' physical education department and an Advisor to the Assembly Club, G. A. A. and the Cheerleaders. She was director of the Senior Play. Mr. Wright, who is in charge of the American History and Civics departments, received his A. B. from Bethany College and his M. A. from the University of Pittsburgh. 9
