The Past With Awareness Of The Present Man has always realized that peace is simply an understanding between nations. This is an age when it is critically important to have a thorough understanding of the interrelation of nations and people. In keeping with these thoughts, the History Department offers courses designed to acquaint the student with the causes and effects of this relationship in the fullest possible way. Ancient and Medieval, World, and American History courses provide the student with a sound background of the events and movements of the past, while Government and Economics familiarize him with the present. By implanting within him a keep insight into the past and present, the History Department feels that each student may meet the future with confidence instead of uncertainty.
