Even though that was Mrs. Mabry's reply when she was asked how the fifth grade's Fall Festival went, it really applied to all their special days. Some of the other special days were, when Mr. Le- vielie talked to Mrs. Mabry's class about rock music, the Thanksgiving feast that both classes participated in, and field day where they got to both classes loaded up early in the morning on May 'lith to take a trip to Chattanoo- ga, Tennessee where they toured the Chattanooga Choo-Choo, enjoyed the shops and recreational ac- tivities while they were away from school, which was probably the best part of the whole trip. No-matter what special day it was the fifth grade al- ways had fun because it was their uspecial Day . stay out of class all day just to have fun. Joel Rodgers, Taylor Adams, Jeff Beabout, and Jennifer Webb all played lead characters. Field trips may have been the most exciting part ofthe year for the sixth grade. All these classes went to the Al- abama Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Chatta- nooga, Tennessee. and Six For some students, the Flags trip was the highlight the year.
