This was the great land rush , the big event of the fourth grade s Frontier Day. Students rushed from the Oklahoma State Llne with covered wagons filled with everything you could possi- bly need to set up pioneer housekeeping - rakes, hoes, guns, blankets, buck- ets ahd Bibles. Frontier Day was only one of the fourth grade's special days. They also took a trip to Montgomery, where they ,N-sf GR D and the home ot Jeffers Davis, and had their pictui taken with Governor G Hunt. Another fun time for t class was Field Day. wh students competed in difii ent sports events.
