There 's more work than play in the ROOM IN Mr. typing, junior Brandi Dunlap screaming, seniors Chris Daniei iimping, and Candy Schilling sweeping -- those are some of the things that you will see if you take a visit to a little room up- stairs where the SMCS annuai staff frantically works to get out the year- book. lt's reaiiy like any other class, but everyone is just crazy, claimed junior Mason Ellenberger. At the beginning of the year, we got a bigger room, which was a big sur- prise, but of course it got taken away from us. We then were moved back to the same little room to work in. Most people in the school really do not real- THE SK Y. ize how difficult it ls to be on the annual staff. Most people think that all we do up there is sit around, goof off, and have parties. Well, if it were up to edi- tor Brandi Dunlap, we would. The life and year of someone that works on the staff is long, hard, and without much sleep at ail. it takes a lot of dedication. and willingness to do a good job. Aithough it takes a certain mind set to work up in that little room in the sky. you eventuaiiy get used to it, The peopie up in the iittie room have a bonding thing in common, stupidity. WR Although senior Chris Daniel keeps the beat with his music it s not all play but it takes iots of work to finish the yearbook. Showing her dedication to the ann staff, senior Candy Schilling comes or Saturday to get her work done. Typing her fingers to the bone, ser Leanne Dennis shivers ln the cold, and 1 cant, little room in the sky.
