Most students at SMCS took these events for granted. Did anyone ever stop and wonder who thought up Lhosi Tcrazyh games Toto tlae ac - o-sc oo par y. r who put up the decorations for Homecoming and trimmed the tree at the Christmas Banquet? All of these things Scand a lot morej were tac led by the SGA, one working school. of The hardest groups in the W ' ' The SGA also planned many events just for fun. The junior high Christmas party included time for socializing with friends, eating, and watching the Christmas movie A Miracle on Thirty- Fourth Street. Members of the senior high were able to partici- pate in a day at Oak Moun- tain State Park, where they played volleyball, ate hot dogs and went on a hay- ride. To learn how to better serve the students and how to plan fun events for every- one to enjoy, the senior high SGA attended a leadership ,, , 4 -W W , ji r 1 as - 1 at wt 1 Y i' 1 1 While playing in the AiabamafAu- burn game, senior Henry Austin gets a rare chance to display his football talent. conference at Bryan Col- lege, while junior high mem- bers attended a confer- ence in Columbus, Georgia. Seventh grader Sheryl Tuck- er, a representative of Mrs. Stone's class said, We ac- complished a lot by spend- ing time together discussing our concerns and strate- gies. Give credit where credit is due, the old saying goes, and the credit is certainly due to the members of the A C SGA who made this year's events the best ever.
