WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS I National Champions at last! After two long years of hard work and determina- tion, the Eagles edged defending champi- ons Chisago Lakes Baptist School, Chi- sago City, Minnesota 2 to 1 to win the 1984 AACS National Soccer Tournament at the Wilds in North Carolina. The game was a rematch of last years cham- pionship game when the same teams squared off, with the Minnesota team capturing the title by a 3 to O margin. Our very own Peter Loli was selected MVP for the tournament, and it was the third straight year for this fine athlete to be named to the AACS all-tournament team. Joining Peter on the all-tourna- ment team were Sonny Blaising, Paul Bradley, and Fulton Ramsay. The Chi- sago Lakes team won the Sportsmanship Award for the second straight year. The 1985 National Tournament was sched- uled for November 5-8, 1985 at the Wilds. Please, no autographs Gimme a break Hang Loose
