SWIMMING TEAM THE SHADES-CAHABA SWIMMING TEAM The school swimming team was first organized last year for the county swim- ming meet. The Shades-Cahaba team won out and received the trophy. The mem- bers of the team were Jimmy Smiley, Douglas Adams, Billy Haynes, Calvin McCulloh and Jimmy Doyle. This year the team will attempt to keep the trophy. The team lost only one man, and it has several new swimmers. VVith a little luck Shades-Cahaba will keep the Jefferson County Swimming Trophy.
