W JA- Wm .ff CAPTAIN BILL KNOX: Bill will always be looked upon by his team-mates as one of the most outstanding centers in the school's history. He possessed that rare quality to be able to play best when the going got tough. His spirit set an example that stirred not only the team, but the supporters as well. His graduation will leave s hard gap to fill in the front wall. ALTERNATE CAPTAIN TOMMY TROTTER: Although Tommy was hampered by injuries during the first of the season, he came through in great style. His pass receiving, combined with his fine defensive play, made him one of the county's most feared ends. His all around good ball playing will be missed greatly next year. JERRY WILKINS: Jerry was the plunging fullback of the squad, His hard running made him the team's most consistant yardage gainer. Whenever the team was in a jam, his kicking could always be relied on to pull them out. GROVER WHITE: Grover was the Iine's master at defensive playing. His hard charging and never-say-die spirit broke up many of the opponents drives before they got going. Everyone will hate to see Grover leave this year texcopt the boys who played in front of him.J JIMMY SPEED: Jim received awards for being both first string all-county guard and for the best scholastic standing on the team. He played his best from tht starting whistle to the last play. This was Jimmy's last year. BOBBY CHRISTIANSEN: Little Chief was one of the team's highest scorers. His hard running, sure tackling, quick thinking made up for his luck of size. Bobby was the second and last of the Christiansen halfbacks at Cahaha. JIMMY DOYLE: Jimmy did a. fine job of holding down the offensive right tackle position. His hard blocking was a great asset to the team. Jim was one of those Players who really put his heart into his work and, consequently, worked his way into the hearts of his teammates. Q A as or .1 gg W Q
