J . -,., ..,1.,,5,.. , viqlqr' ji -X. btgtfif' XX fo fin The officers for the 1972-73 Lettermenls Club were: Stanley Lemas, President, Mike jones, Vice President, jim Martin, Secretary-Treasurer, and Brent Mahan, Intramural Manager. The Lettermen's Club started off their year by sponsoring a bonfire held on the beach. At the bonfire, a scavenger hunt was held. The teams participated as classes, with the Junior Class winning. Intramural points were given, along with prizes. After the bonfire, there was a snake dance. At this, everyone joined hands and paraded around town and through stores yelling and screaming. The Lettermen's Club showed a lot of school spirit this year.

Intramural Sports Intramural Sports had much participation this year. Points were given to each class that won any of the events. For the first time, Boys, and Girls' Intramural points were given separately. Football started off the year for the boys. It was won by the Junior Class. Next was Flicker Ball, which the Senior Class won. The next activity was basketball, which the Sophomore Class won. Following this were volleyball games, which were also won by the Sophomore Class. The bicycle race ended the year for the boys, and in that sport, the Junior Class won. The results of total points for the boys were: Sophomores-2425 points, Juniors-1375 points, Seniors-also 1375 points, and Freshmen-1250 points. The girls had more Intramural Sports this year than in any previous year. Starting off the year for the girls, the Junior Class and the Sophomore Class tied for the football Championship. The Bicycle Race was the next activity. This was won by the Sophomores. The final sport for Girls' Intramurals was volleyball. This was also won by the Sophomore Class.
