An extensive library is an asset to a school, and its control, expansion and foundation rest on the foresight and intelligence of the members of its staff. Recent advances in communication and transporta- tion, which have brought the peoples of the world into a more integral relationship, have placed a premium upon the mastering of a foreign language. The Lan- guage Department has made it possible to learn Latin, German, French and Spanish.
