the varsity s elub's bonfire sparks school spirit for the turkey bowl game 'N -'nw ' gf f 151 gi f M WV V' 3. ffzfnnwwf- W A ff-:L Jw: grim Q- I ' W , fs- .,.,.. - M. ..,,l Aida., the varsity s is a selective group of boys who are eligible for membership only after they have earned their letter in some sport. these boys direct the student body into seats when there is an assembly and then stand by as monitors. two important activities of the varsity s this year were a victory dance after our football team was defeated and a bonfire which was successful in bolstering school spirit and contributing to the turkey bowl game victory. the pictures of the club are in the shapes of a vw and an sv to represent the club's name, varsity s. the picture of the officers directly above includes bruce lawton, presidentg chris litty, vice-presidentg robin Schmidt, secretaryg and jim gugliotti, treasurer. mr. andrew borland is club advisor.

majorettes display their skill at every game ,lv-X 193 s 6 the majorettes are a selective group of girls affiliated with the marching band. these girls provide entertainment during half time at football games and help to promote school spirit. the most impressive feat the majorettes perform occurs during night games when batons become swirling orbs of torchlight. the captain is chris meyers and co-captain is bea musgrove who are pictured at right.
