student council sponsors the senior girls' slumber party the student council sponsored a slumber party for the first time this year. on october 11, the senior girls took over the gym, spreading their sleeping paraphenalia over the floor. the gymnastic equipment, set up for the evening, provided some of the entertainment. 140

june jeffcoat reigns over the homecoming court june jeffcoat Crightj, this yea.r's student council secretary, reigned over the homecoming festivities as queen. in the order of their attendance, her court included ellen thompson Cbottom rightj, jean quesinberry Cfar rightj, karen madsen Cbelowj, and anne lyons fleftj. the court was announced at the pep assembly on friday afternoon, november 1, 1968g they traveled on their own float in the saturday parade. june was crowned during the halftime ceremony at the homecoming game. .
