To the Graduates:
Four years ago you seniors entered Seneca Vocational High School at the same time I became
principal. We have experienced four very interesting and successful years together.
The active part you have taken in school affairs has been noteworthy. C From the freshman year
your class has had its share of honors. You have taken A a prominent part in our very successful
athletic program. Through your participation and help, our assemblies have greatly improved.
You have worked together and with the Juniors with such smoothnessthat our committees have
functioned' to a degree that no school can boast of a better student organization. You have de-
veloped many fine procedures in student government, and have formed new committees. This
yearbook is a fine tribute to your hard work. '
During these four years you have heard much about a new building for Seneca. It probably
seemed to you to be moving very slowly and at times you doubted that we would have an addition.
Finally you saw the actual start of the construction. You also saw the start of the new course in
television. N I
Many of you no doubt hoped you could spend another year at Seneca to have the benefit of all
these new facilities. However, even though you are graduating before you can enioy all these,
you can feel pride in the fact that you have had a part in the preparation and have helped to
make Seneca the great school it is.
Your interest in Seneca cannot stop upon graduation. Everything you do will reflect back
upon your school. You should continue to take an active part in the life of your alma mater.
Certainly you will want to return often to share the advantages made possible by our new building,
equipment and courses. As you will share in our good fortune, so also will we take great pleasure
in your success in the years to come.
