Youth and Govern- ment Program all through high school. Courtney played softball in 10th grade and volleyball for the past two years, earning her varsity letter this year. She ahs also proved invaluable to the Latin Team as their captain in 'l'Ith and 12th grade. In her sophomore and junior years she was a volunteer at the As- bury Methodist home. She was also a camp counselor for the 8th grade outdoor education program at MVJHS. Courtney has enjoyed all of the people she has met during high school and appreciates all the diverse activities here at Seneca. Amy has also won many honors and distinctions. She is a national Merit Semi-finalist, a Rensselear medalist l11thj, Maryland State Distinguished Scholar and a Gaithersburg jay- cees Student of the Month, among many other things.
