Under the direction of Martha Page, as chair- man, the Council was ahle to provide a wider va- riety of chapel i)ro ;rams. This feature was ap- preciated hy the student body. Through the etforts of the advertising commit- tee, a record attendance was maintained at all the football games. A receptiou committee sponsored by the Coun- cil extended liospitality to visiting teams and stu- dents, and in this way promoted a feeling of friendship.
