With four wins and five losses, the team tied Moline for second place in the Blackjack league. There were fifty boys out for football with sixteen returning letterman. Her Majestys' Atten- dants were Pat Joy, a Freshman, escorted by J. C. Brown, Sue Jones, a Soph- omore, escorted by Leon Wallace, and Joan Robinson, a Junior, escorted by Don Selter. The Queen was escorted by Gary Baker. These girls were selected by popular vote of the football squad. tfe- - Queen Gloria was presented a silver football on a chain and a bouquet of flowers.
