LCDR P TRICK W. HU T EXECUTIVE CFFICER LCDR Hunt, hails from Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. He attended William P. Davie High School in that city, and graduated from North Carolina University in June 1975 where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. LCDR Hunt received his commission through the Officer Candidate School and was assigned to the USS MOBILE QLKA-1157. His subsequent tours include: Coastal River Squadron One in Coronado, CA, Freshmen Officer instructor at Southern Univer- sity in Baton Rouge, LA, Chief Engineer aboard USS TRIPPE QFF-10751 and Chief Engi- neer aboard USS MERRIMACKCAO-1791. LCDR Hunt assumed his duties as Executive Officer aboard USS SEATTLE QAOE-55 on June 10, 1987. During his Naval Career, LCDR Hunt has earned two Navy Commendation Medals, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Sea Senfice Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Battle Efficiency Ribbon, the Coast Guard Unit Commendation with Operational O and is Command Qualified. LCDR Hunt is married to the former Pamela McFarlin of Tulsa, Oklahoma. They reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia with their two sons, Vernon and Mi- chael. I s vi f ij!! VI

CAPTAIN JAMES K. TCLBERT Captain James K. Tolbert was born in Greenwood, South Carolina on January 1, 1940. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in June 1964 with a Bachelor ofScience Degree in Naval Science and a commission as Ensign, USN. Since graduation his assignments have spanned the full range of the spectrum. Captain Tolbert's ship assignments have included duty on board USS CALIENTE KAO- 55J, USS KALMIA QATA-1841, USS VOGELGESANG CDD-8627, USS WILLIAM M. WOOD QDD-7155, and the USS MOUNT BAKER QAE-545. In these assignments Captain Tolbert has served in various billets up to and including Commanding Officer. His shore assignments have included staff duties with the Commander Operational Test and Evaluation Force and the Commander Naval Military Personnel Command. Cap- tain Tolbert has also senfed at the Surface Warfare Officer School Command as an instruc- tor for Prospective Commanding Officers. Captain Tolbert earned a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Golden Gate University in July 1978, graduating with distinction. He is also an alumnus of the Naval War College, Newport, RI having graduated from the College of Naval Warfare in June 1980 and the Integrated Warfare Course in March 1985. His awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commenda- tion Medal, the Navy Achievement Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with three gold stars, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
