The Mixed Chorus has given a Christmas Vesper Service annually for sixteen years. In their wine colored robes, the chorus of fifty well-trained voices, under the direction of Miss Lois Jean Hirschler, gave an inspiring program. The traditional Christmas story was read by Dean Rinner. Mark Lowe told the stories of familiar carols, with the humming choir as background. On Deo- ember 19, Miss Hirsohler took a small group of chorus members to Winter General Hospital, where they sang Christmas Carols in the wards. There are twenty-four members in the band this year. Anyone who can play an instrument is eligible to participitate in the band. A special rehersal is held eaoh week for those who cannot attend regular class. The band plays at football games and other school activities. The more expert members play solos on special programs throughout the year. Miss Hirschler directs the band.
