For her willingness to help and her warm understanding, we Seniors take pride in dedicating the 1968 Se-HI to Mrs. Sarah R, Auman, Mrs. Sarah R. Auman Because We Are Grateful We Dedicate — Mrs. Marian Tillman To one who has been a source of inspiration to the Senior class by her patience, understanding, and ready as- sistance, we would like to express our thanks, She has worked diligently to prepare us for the future and to help us realize our abilities and responsibilities. It is with pleasure that the Senior class dedi- cates the 27th edition of the SE-HI to Mrs. Marian Tillman, A Door, a Key. . . a Challenge As I sit and think back over the past twelve years, I unlock a door behind which there are many memories. I see pictures of fellow students, class parties, club meetings, and the special ‘‘highlights’’ which have made our high school years the best of all, With graduation not far away, it’s time to turn an- other key in our lives and to open the door that will lead us to college, to a new job, or into the role of a husband or wife. Whichever way we decide to go, we know that we have been well prepared. We thank our teachers, parents, administrative staff and our friends for the support and encouragement they have given us. I wish to thank the SE-HI Staff for the time and effort they have rendered to make this yearbook possible and to say a big ‘‘thank you’’ to Mrs, Auman for her patience and helpfulness, I take one last look backward, think- ing of the days which seemed so long but slipped away so fast. I hope the °68 SE-HI will now and in years to come bring back fond memories of Seagrove High for you. The roar of the Seagrove Ti- gers was heard loud and strong — on Saturday night as they cele- - brated homecoming in grand style by romping to two easy wins over Hoffman. | The Tigerettes opened the ac- tion by sailing to their fifth win of the season, 67-31. However, that just set the stage for what was to come in the boys en- counter, as the Tigers buried Hoffman with a 72-25 barrage. Seagrove boys, bouncing back from its first defeat of the year on Friday night, took revenge on Hoffman, much to the pleasure of the over-flow homecoming crowd. After a low scoring first quarter, which saw the Tig- ers leading 83, Seagrove broke loose inthe second quarter and took a command- _ing lead. They outscored their visitors 15-7, to hold a 23-10 advantage at halftime. Seagrove literally ran Hoff- man off the court in the sec- ond half with the stingy and aggressive defense of the Tig- ers giving up only 8 points in ‘the third quarter, while the red ‘hot offense burned the nets for 2.
