YOU G AUDIENCES Young Audiences is a non-profit organization which presents a program of live demonstration chamber music concerts to children in their schools as part of their curriculum. It acquaints them with good music as an enrichment of everyday life and encourages them to play instruments for their own enjoyment. The San Francisco chapter is only seven years old, but it is the third largest group in the United States. The national organization begun in Baltimore in 1949, is now the world's largest concert agency. Highly skilled musicians, drawn mostly from the San Francisco and Oakland symphonies, make up nine ' ensembles. This is the string ensemble. Young Audiences of San Francisco is only one of thirty chapters across the United States.
