Sharp Guard is the name of the U.N.. Operation charged with enforcing trade sanctions against the former Yugoslavia. No ships carrying prohib- 1ted cargoes, that would support the war efforts, are al- lowed into or out of former Yugoslavian ports. SCOTT is a part of the task group stationed off the Montenegran coast. SC.OTT'S duties as a part of Sharp Guard include the sur- veillance of surface contacts, identifying contacts of inter- est, and boarding vessels which might be breaking the em- bargo. Deny Flight is the U.N. mission that is enforcing the No-Fly zone over Bosnia-Hercegovina. SCOTT's mission is to provide surveillance support for the entire airspace over the southern Adriatic.
