I The Principal's Message The corner stone has been laid. Yes, Seniors, each of you, with the able assistance of your home, church, and school has came to that point in life which is yours. Your individual corner stone has been carefully and properly put into place. ln the years to follow, you will realize that less and less assistance will be made available to you in the architectural design of your life. As you will now rapidly strive for more complete independence, you shall be the architect of your own life. The Haven, the home, and the church have been active participants in the laying of the corner stone. The land was most properly surveyed, the form was made of oak, the foundation has been laid well below the freezing point, the mortar was mixed very carefully in every detail, We, lyour teachers, parents, and clergyl, commission you, the Senior Class of I964, to go forth and continue the building of your individual lives and your society, into o fortress of honesty, integrity, and sincerity. As we here at The Haven remain to help lay other corner stones, we shall pause, from time to time, to observe the edifice that has been built upon your cornerstone and as the years pass, some of us will be there to witness the placing of the Keystone. Then, as it slips into place, true and secure, plumb in every respect, we shpll all re- joice in the knowledge of your true accomplish- ment. Mem N
