Your country is fighting to save Democracy, which is our way of life. Put into practice the true meaning of Democracy with its attendant duties and responsibilities as well as its privileges. It is your duty to support your government willingly, to serve to the best of your ability wheth- er in the home, in industry, or possibly in the armed forces of your country. In whatever capacity you will be occupied, I am sure you will serve with credit to your home, your school and your country, This 1954 Blue and Gold is an example of your accomplishments.
