Evie is kept busy milking cows, feeding the chickens, and doing the many other chores on their farm, so Ron hired Nancy Frieburg, his old flame, to help Evie with the housework. Evie and Ron like the farm real well. Paul Zimmerman Paul and Joan are living in Kentucky where Paul is working in a coal mine. They have ten children--all boys. Joan has a hard time trying to take care of them, but her main problem is washing Paul when he gets home from work.
