Bob Perkins, my ability to drive on slick roads, my job as manager so he can go to all the basketball games. Phil Hawthorne, my ability to get a date with Mary Leah Haines. I, LILA CLARK, do hereby will, devise and bequeath to: Gary Garrett, my friendship with the girls of S. C. H. S. Paul Huth, my ability not to lose his temper so easily. Gordon Hasty, my knowledge of the girls and I hop ledge. Mary Ann Wills, my friendship with Roy Thompson, so that she can get better acquainted with him. RILYN HUBERT, do hereby will, devise, and bequeath to: Mary Nickrent, my height so she can look down to boys. Norma Denny, my friendship with the boys, it isn't much, but every bit helps. Anna Mae Zachay, my car, I've found it helps to have one. Marjorie Grant, my friendship with Bob S. I, LOREN SEARS, do hereby will, devise, and bequeath to: X Gerald Cozad, my ability to get to school on time. Charlie Lewis, my ability to have only one red head girl in High School. Clifford Anderson, my ability to be the fastest boy on the track team. Louis Siems, my ability to stay small and short. Farewell, dear S. C. H. S. We seniors want to bid you adieu, We shall remember the good times we have spent with you. We have worked hard and received much knowledge-- Now from S. C. H. S. Our next step is college.

Standing Left to Right: Gerald Cozad, Milford Gibbens, Jim Kinsell, Harold Erwin, Roy Thompson, Gordon Hasty, Junior Hale, Mr. Keyser, Advisor. This year the Junior class started with fifteen members in the class. Jean List was the only new member, transferring from Gibson City. The officers elected for the year were, President, Gordon Hastyg Vice-President, Mary Lou Ball, Secretary, Anna Mae Zachay, and Treasurer, Jean List. Billie Morefield quit school to get mar- ried during the first semester. The second semester we added four boys to the class. At the beginning of the semester Roy Thompson. Harold Erwin, and Bob Hawthorne transferred to Saybrook and approximately March 1st, Bob Perkins transferred from Monticello High School. The Junior class this year sponsored the all school carnival again for the pur- pose of raising money for the Junior and Senior year. The main expense is to pro- vide money for the Junior-Senior banquet. This year the banquet was held at the University of Illinois Student Union Building which will provide a lot of activities for the evening's program. Some of the most popular being dancing, bowling, ping pong, and listening to good music. The carnival was presented October 23 and all records were broken for net profit received from the carnival. The crowning of the queen was prob-ably the big- gest event of the evening. Jean List, the representative from the Junior class, was crowned queen of Saybrook High School for the current year. '
