BLUE JACKETS RUNNERS-UP IN REGION 2-AAA In the opening game of the tournament, Savannah High School, turning in the sharpest performance of its highly successful season, routed Groves, 72-34 in Augusta, to join Aquinas, Glynn, and favored Richmond Academy in the semifinals of the Region 2-AAA basketball tournament. Savannah High School's comeback kids! who for some reason have trouble hitting their peak before intermission, tore Glynn Academy's title hopes to shreds in the third quarter of the game and rode to a 56-42 triumph that moved them into the cham ionshi match of the re ion tournament. P P 8 In the Region 2-AAA championship game Savannah High's Blue jackets, who usually have trouble getting going in the early stages, raced to a 15-4 advantage in the first quarter only to fall flat as top-seeded Richmond Academy roared back for a 66-46 triumph and the championship title. Herbie Lamb. drives into a host of Richmond players for a lay-up shot.
