ERWIN A. GALLAGHER SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS TO THE MEMBERS OE THE CLASS OE 1970: As seniors, you are about to leave Saugus High School and proceed to other goals. Eor some of you this means continued study at an institution of higher learning. Eor others, it means that you will seek immediate em- ployment. Whether your path leads you one way or the other, I believe that each of you will exemplify the ideals that will demonstrate the worth and dignity of each person that you come to know and that you will respect the worthiness of his contribution to your life. Never has a group of young men and women had an opportunity to be as well prepared for your new roles as you have. You have shown that you are interested in the problems of our community and society and .ire willing to commit yourselves to their solution. With adequate direction to supplement your own motivation, you can do much to promote an era of social change. May I then extend to you my congratulations for your achievements here at Saugus High School?
