He will always have plenty of time for baseball and basket- ball, but not for moody girls. ELAINE KAY BERRY 612 Lincoln Avenue Work There isn ' t much Elaine can do about being short, but it certainly won ' t be a handicap to her in her hobby of photography. In the summer, on her days off, she will be found at the beach enjoying her favorite sport, swimming. Clubs: Girls ' , P.T.S.A. 2. CONRAD PAUL BERTHOLD 392 Main Street TV Cameraman Connie Cheerful Connie is sure to be a suc- cess as a TV cameraman. With his terrific photographic ability he has helped greatly in the production of the school magazine and yearbook. Me will also remember him for the acting ability he showed in the school plays. Clubs: Boys ' 1, 2, Camera 3, 4 — President 4. Dramatic 4, P.T.S.A. I. Radio — Vice President 2; Focus 3, 4 — Photography, Annual — Photog- raphy Staff. DONALD MELVIN BERTRAM 49 Elm Street Service Don Friendly and sincere Don, who dislikes freshmen, likes swimming. His hobby is homework, but we ' re afraid he won ' t get enough in the Navy to make him happy. Clubs: Boys ' 1, 2. ROBERT BICKNELL 4 Bufford Street Service Bick During the summer, when Bick isn ' t driving or working, he can usually be found water skiing. With his winning ways, he will do well in the Navy. Let ' s hope he doesn ' t meet too many girls who smoke. Clubs: Boys ' 1, 2, Ski 4, Band 1, 2, 3, 4. JANET BOAG BINGHAM 222 Water Street Airline Hostess Jan Cheery Jan, who dislikes unfriendly- people, may be able to ski on snow- slopes and water ski in the warm waters on the same day when she is an airline hostess. She ' ll always find time for her hobbies, cooking and sewing. Clubs: Girls ' Homemakers 1, 2; P.T.S.A. 1, 2, 3, 4; Sahico 4, Ski 4 — President; Athletics: Home Room Basketball 3, 4; Softball 1, 2, 3, 4; Volleyball 3; Committees-. The S.H.S. girls sports won ' t be the same without her. What ' s wrong with women drivers ? RONALD MICHAEL BAPTISTA 17 Gilway Road College Ronnie Quiet, well liked Ronnie has been a familiar sight driving around the streets of Saugus in a Buick or an Olds. Col- lege is his goal, but girls who smoke are his aversion. Clubs : Boys 1, 2, Bowling 3, 4 — Vice President 4. ROBERTA TERESA BARRETT 49 Saville Street Dancing Teacher Bobbie Bubbly and gay, Bobbie has been a familiar sight on the social scene at S.H.S. She doesn ' t like dates who arrive late. She loves to dance and will enjoy her career as a dancing teacher. Clubs : Girls , Dramatic 4, Sahico 4, Pep Squad 3, 4 ; Annual — Advertis- ing ; Committees: Junior Prom; Talent Night 4; Car Wash 3. JOHN JOSEPH BARTEAUX 8 Elmer Avenue Service Bart Bart ' s favorite sport is hockey. After graduation he plans to join the Armed Forces. Let ' s hope that when you are on leave, you do not meet any con- ceited girls. Clubs : Boys 1, 2, Bowling 4. RICHARD RAYMOND BAUWENS 53 Riverbank Road Service Dick Girls that say cause annoy Dick. If you ' re looking for him, he may be at a baseball game, or under the hood of a car. The Navy will be lucky to get ingenious Dick. Clubs: Boys 1, 2, Bowling 4, Ski 4. SANDRA ELAINE BECKFORD 337 Lincoln Avenue Nursing Sandy Friendly and likable Sandy will make a competent nurse. There isn ' t much she can do about those dreadful Monday mornings, but she ' s sure to greet them with her usual smile. Good luck! We ' ll be seeing you at the S.H.S. football games, cheering for your favorite team. ELIZABETH OCEANA BOUDREAU 22 Riverbank Road Hairdresser Shanny Quiet and cute Shanny enjoys watch- ing football games.
