Greetings to Our Readers Tl1e students of Saugerties High School present to you the 1950 Sawyer. This is its twenty-sixth year' of publication. lYithin its pages you will see pictures of your friends and classmates, as well as many familiar scenes in our village. In these pages we have made a sincere effort to acquaint you with the activities of our young people, both while in and out ot' school. lVe have endeavored to include every pupil in tl1e High School from the 7th through the 12th grades in at least one group photo- graph. Many appear several times. llle have tried also to give you a cross-section of the activities of our pupils ill fields that vary from athletics to music. Photographs of most of our clubs are included along with a statement ot' the purpose and a list of the accomplish- ments of each. llve have derived much enjoyment from preparing this book tor you. ln return we sincerely hope that you enjoy this yearbook and find it a valuable addition to your library of recorded memories.
