Homecoming week began with the annual tea for the maids given by the Student Council. The maids enjoyed cookies, cake, and punch. Following the tea was the parade. The parade consisted of many of the students’ cars decorated with school spirit, making the biggest homecoming parade in SHS school history. The pep rally was a great success with the students coming out in record numbers to get the team ready for the big game. Each class showed great spirit, but the Seniors showed the most, winning the spirit stick with tremendous pride. The cheerleaders, along with the senior football players, put everyone in the Homecoming mood when they presented a skit to the students before the pep rally. Everyone laughed and cheered at the skit and looked forward to the game the next night. V V,

i ' The theme of the Homecoming Dance ’86 was “Masquerade”. The dance was decorated with skeletons, witches, black cats, and pum- pkins. The moon and the stars shone brightly as everyone gleemed in their costumes and masks.
