Students Circulate Their Blood Ouch, they are sticking us! Sponsored by the Student Council, this year's blood drive was a supreme achieve- ment, as it has been for the past several years. Once again we broke our goal by 17 pints. Originally set for 100 pints and because of the great participation we had, the Red Cross received 117 pints from Sat- suma. The Candy Stripers, who aided the Red Cross, made it an even greater success. Keith is drained, but not dead. Kim shows how it’s done. Candy Stripers show their skill in aiding the Red Cross. Students Skim for Occupations The purpose of Career Day was to let students get an idea of what type of profes- sion they might want to go into. It was held in the library during second and third period for juniors and seniors only. There were various types of career opportunities presented such as banks, colleges. Na- tional Guard and Reserve, and military services. Satsuma High School is one of the few schools in Mobile that has Career Day for the students.
