Good Times Flood the Night. Regina Cave and Jim McDonald Niki Pilgrim and Randy Sanderson On October 19, Homecoming 1984 took place. It was a night of sheer excitement as the Gators went up against the David- son Warriors. At half time, as the band began to play, Pam Stokley and Alan Byrd, the emcees, came onto the field and presented the 1984 Homecoming Court. One sweetheart was chosen from each of the Band, ROTC, and Football Team. After the Gators reached its vic- tory over the Warriors, the students frenzily walked to the gym for the Homecoming Dance. Purple Rain Showers Homecoming Of the six Senior Homecoming Maids, one was to be chosen Homecoming Queen. As the crowd sat engulfed in suspense and anticipation, this honor was bestowed on Renee Brunson. It was a night to be remembered for a long time by Renee and her escort Wade Ward, as well as the many spirited Gator fans. Renee crowned Queen by Regina Little.
