GUIDANCE COUNSELOR PLAYS VITAL ROLE Mrs. Dorthea Quimby has planned and supervised the guidance program at Satsuma for the past three years. Mrs. Quimby is always available to help students with their academic and personal problems. She helps students select their vocations and plan their course of study. One of her chief pro- jects is assisting students in obtaining college scholarships. Mrs. Quimby also conducts the testing program at school. Mrs. Quimby received her Masters Degree from the University of Alabama. LIBRARY GROWS AS ENROLLMENT INCREASES The tremendous growth of student en- rollment is evident in the new book shelves added to the library. Bach shelf will accomodate five books for every new student added to the school enrollment this year. To fill the shelves the P. T.A. start- ed a fund raising project. [ 4 ]
