The purpose of our club is CID to promote a growing appreciation of the joys and satisfaction of home-making, CZD to emphasize the importance of worthy home membership, C32 to foster the development of creative leadership in home and community life, C4D to provide wholesome individual and group recreation, and CSD to further interest in home economics. t We appoint such committees as social service, social, business, money-making, and edu- cational to plan the meetings and the events of the year. This year the calendar for the Future Homemakers of America included the Father-Daughter Pot-luck supper and a dem- onstration by Mrs. Clim of textile painting in February, the formal Mother-and-Daughter Banquet in April, and our Christmas party in December. We sponsored a raffle at the carnival in March. Our main project was to send boxes of food and clothing to a European family whom we adopted. Pllge Thirty one

We came in first in the Senior Division of this judging. january 21 the F. F. A. held a dance for the school and February 28 was the date for our annual Father-and-Son Banquet, served by the F. H. A. girls. Our district grain-and-potato judging contest was held on March 20. We came in first on this judging contest, too. The State grain-, poultry-, and potato-judging contest was held the first and second of April at Fort Collins. Ten boys of our F.F.A. Club went to the state convention as judges and delegates. Carl Worley is the State Vice President of F. F. A.
