GILLILAND.........................Advisor MRS. HORTON............................Advisor Dedication In deep appreciation, the Senior Class of 1963 dedicates the Sardonian to Mrs. Kathryn Mosley, our lunchroom manager. Mrs. Mosley started her service in the lunchroom at the same time we began the seventh grade. During this time she has been a guide, counselor, and friend to us. Last year Mrs. Mosley became MammyMosley for our Junior-Senior Banquet. Her presence made the banquet a success. We feel that she has helped us to realize our responsibility as Seniors. We proudly present her this dedication with thanks and love. Principal MRS. JEWEL BAILEY Faculty Third Grade MISS JUNE BUCKELEW Vocational Home Economics MRS. EVELYN CAMP Music MRS. Highlights of Our Senior Year 1963 Salutatorians JOAN MA RONEY To you, the graduating class of 1963, I offer my heartiest congratu- lations. As you look back over the past years, there will be many mem- orable occasions that you will cherish forever. As you leave High School and go out into the world, some of you will continue your education in other schools; others will seek employment in the world of business. What- ever path you may travel, continue your education whether it be in institu- tions of higher learning or self taught for Knowledge is the true currency of all times. ” As you travel on down the road of life there will be many problems with which you are unfamiliar. In dealing with these problems always be honest, trustworthy, dependable and always be loyal to your employers. Remember always that courtesy pays big dividends when dealing with your fellow man. Many of you are undecided about which vocation to choose. May I remind you the vo- cation is not too important as long as it is an honorable one. Whatever you do, strive to be the best. Reach the top of the ladder by hard, honest work, giving an honest day's work for a fair day's pay. Always remember when things go wrong and the way is dreary there is always someone of higher authority you may turn to. He will brighten your day and never lead you wrong. Bill H.
