SENIORS SENIOR President Vice-President AINSLIE WAGNER LAS S JOANNE EDDY FFICERS Secretary Treasurer MAUREEN WILLIAMS CAROL CROCKER Senior Council: Mr. Banning, adviser, J. Parish, L. Levine, R. Lant, P. Staigar SEC. ROW, D. Smith, G. Gailor, J. Biffer. M. Collins, M. Brill, THIRD ROW, D. Dunlap, M. Williams, J. Eddy, A. Wagner. Under the guidance and urging of Mr. Banning since our sophomore year, our class has raised money with dinners and dances. This year we sponsored a WPTR Good Guy game. Many of our council's final effort's at school are being directed toward the Prom in May and graduation June 23. During our four years at SSHS, members of our class have served actively in school and community affairs. We now have seniors on all the schools from football and cross country in the fall through baseball and track in the spring. We have active cheerleaders and Pep Club members to boast school spirit. After graduation the members of our class will go their separate ways. Some will attend new schools and colleges for further training. Marriage or work await the others. Regardless of their plans for the future, their yearls at SSHS will be remembered, for some of their future success will rest on their training and ex- periences of high school. Advisor Mr. Wilbur Banning Senior Homeroom Teachers: Mr. Haswell, Mrs. Lake. Mr. Fontaine, Miss OiRourke, Mr. Devane. ABv SENT: Mr. Schoener. FOOTBALL The Blue Streaks entrance into the Northern Con- ference was marred by a string of losses due to injuries sustained by key players in games before the teams ap- pearance in the Conference. However, Coaches Wal- dron and Haswell used some rather inexperienced play- ers to their advantage and the whole team showed great improvement by the first game with Mechanicville.
