After the annual April Fools Day Parade on the front walk, the seniors skipped school en masse and spent the remainder ofthe day at the beach. Prize winners were: Jerry Rocher, Johnny Ingalls, Dimples Scott, Charles Rice, Gloria Albritton, Rosie Kickliter, Dick Wood and Frank Morris. Sunburn eases were plentiful the following day, but everyone agreed that the picnic was worth it. Stunt Night, replacing the Senior Class Play, was en- acted before the Sweetheart Time Court. Billy Dillinger and Virginia Dean were King and Queen and were at- tended by six maids and their escorts. Slowly the day of graduation. May 28, was creeping upon the seniors, and in a last effort to crowd as much into the remaining time as possible they hurried through exams. lReally final ones for them.l The Junior and Senior Prom burst on the horizon like a Big Top. The Juniors certainly worked hard to achieve such a charming effect with clowns and ballet girls and giraffes and lions and tigers and even the mcrry-go- rounds. At the time this book goes to press the year is not quite over. The seniors are yet to receive caps and gowns and attend the Baccalaureate Sermon. Then down the aisle to Pomp and Circumstancen to receive their diplomas from Supt. Kimbrough. Une last get-together at the Senior Dance and then- '- the Class of 1946 will be history. 1946 .s .5355-ts W' li. -,w. , . .. sr ii -'v.,.f 'ITV' Sh-'I vtvyrlj 1946 AILOR'S LOG SHS 73 SHS SAILORVS LOG 1946 Q Jw Wy 1946 SA11goR'sLoG SHS fdlflotab 9740415 ' 10- I Aim fiyg A5vf4f,gk,, L futmi ff Li?
