English SHS should feel truly proud to have such an outstanding English department. The teaching staff is the main highlight of the department. Business The Business Department teaches students the skills and abilities needed by our students to be successful economic citizens and business employees. Students may take classes such as-general business, business law, typing I and typing II, shorthand, office machines, accounting, record keeping, and Vocational Office Education I and II. Foreign Language The Foreign Language Department was very busy this year Spanish and French classes attended three contests. They are at the University of Arkansas, Tulsa University, and Oklahoma University. They plan many activities through the Spanish and French Honor Societies. The Foreign Language Department also holds an assembly each year.
