Mrs. Williams 'holds a class discussion. Communication is a vital factor in world understanding. Our Language Arts department encourages communication through its varied and challenging cours- es. Students take English and may choose from Spanish l and II, French l and ll, Speech l and Il, journalism, and composition. Students have the opportunity to use what they learn in these classes. Foreign language students write to pen pals in foreign countries. Speech students enter contests and participate in plays. Stu- dents in journalism publish our school paper.
