Teaching at SHS for 16 years, MR. BEN H. NELSON, the driver s education instructor, is co-sponsor of the Drivers' Club. He has a M.E. degree from O.U. Mr. Nelson attends the Methodist Church. Sapulpa's new basketball coach, MR. DAN A. MOORE, also teaches one class of general business and serves as sponsor of the sophomore class. He has a B.S. degree from East Central State College. Mr. Moore attends the First Christian Church. MRS. DOROTHY LINDLEY, librarian, has a B.A. degree from Henderson State Teachers College. She has been at SHS for three years and is sponsor of the Library Club. Mrs. Lindley attends •the Presbyterian Church. MR. DOUGLAS BALDRIDGE, sponsor of the F.T.A., has been at SHS for two years teaching mechanical drawing. He has a B.S. degree from O.S.U. MRS. GERALDINE DUBOIS, teacher of first and second year typing, sponsor of the senior class, and advisor of the yearbook, has taught at SHS for nine years. She has a B.S. degree from O.S.U., and is a member of Kappa Kappa Iota and Delta Kappa Gamma. She spends her leisure time at her cabin on Lake Tenkiller with her family. Mrs. DuBois attends the First Methodist Church. Shorthand, bookkeeping and typing have been taught at SHS by MRS. MERLE MULLEN for four years. She received her M.E. degree from O.U. Mrs. Mullen is senior sponsor, co-sponsor of the F.B.L.A., and a member of Kappa Kappa Iota, a teacher’s sorority. She attends the Baptist Church where she teaches a Sunday school class. Teaching office machines and general business for eight years, sponsoring the senior class and F.B.L.A., and heading the business department is MRS. OPHELIA CROSSLIN. She has a B.S. degree from Northeastern State College. Mrs. Crosslin likes to fish, camp out, square dance, and watch baseball games in her spare time. She attends the Baptist Church. Students find a place in the business world For her first year at SHS, MRS. PAULINE YOUNG is teaching bookkeeping. She has a B.S. degree from Southeastern State College. Mrs. Young's favorite saying is, If at first you don’t succeed; try again. She attends the First Baptist Qiurch where she is also the pianist. Today’s age of science must also be called an age of business. New developments in business are both causes and results of scientific progress. The latest up-to-date equipment is used in all of the classrooms of the business department and thus enable the students to become acquainted with the growing business world. Student teacher.
