High School Principal Mr. B. Bomgardner, has led an active life as an educator. This is shown by the fact that he has served in several departments in the school, including the athletic, social studies, science, and physical education departments. In 1957 he was appointed principal and has served in that capacity for four years. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees from Oklahoma State University. Mr. Bomgardner and his wife, Jewell, have two daughters, Pat and Sue. His hobbies are fishing and woodwork. 15

Superintendent of Schools Serving his fourth year as the Superintendent of the Sapulpa school system is Mr. Npel Vaughn. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from East Central State College. His Master of Education Degree is from Oklahoma University. Mr. Vaughn belongs to the following organizations: Masonic Lodge, Rotary Club, O. E. A., Oklahoma School Administrators, and National School Administrators. He and his wife, Juanita, with their two daughters, Sandra and Brenda, attend the First Baptist Church. During his leisure time, he enjoys gardening, sports, and fishing. 14

Three years ago Mr. Mullen, with his wife and family, came to Sapulpa where he accepted the position as Administrative Assistant of the Sapulpa school system. Mr. Mullen devotes a great deal of his time to church activities at the First Baptist Church. He belongs to a number of organizations which include: Masonic Lodge, Lions Club, Life member of N. F.. A., and Oklahoma Elementary School Principals, Oklahoma Assoc, for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Boy Scouts of America Supervisor, Oklahoma Assoc, of School Administrators, and the O. E. A. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from East Central College and his Master of Education from Oklahoma University. In his spare time, Mr. Mullen likes to read or play golf.
